The Indiana Unversity Muslim Student Union (MSU) was founded in 1997 to be the primary on-campus organization to service Muslims on the Indiana University Campus. The MSU seeks to please God in the best possible way, by following The Holy Qur’an that He sent down and following the teachings and examples of His Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him). The MSU seeks to fulfill this purpose by providing a welcoming spiritual environment in which Muslims can practice their faith without fear of discrimination, by holding social events for its members, and by educating non-Muslims about the faith of Islam.
We are a non-profit organization affiliated with the National Muslim Student Association.
Our events and activities include weekly halaqas (study circles), picnics, Eid festivals, Da’wah table, Islam Awareness Week, Ramadan Fast-a-thon, and intramural sports.
